Razor-based leather (without the razor in the picture). The product is in the A.P. Donovan Manufaktur completely manufactured and sewn by hand. Only vegetable -towered beef leather is used for this. We color the leather to the desired color, by hand. The seam also arises completely by hand. The saddler stitch is used. This is characterized by a particularly high lifespan, since each individual stab is knotted. Should a thread ever come loose, the whole seam does not open in this way. We rely on a correspondingly much value as possible durability of our products. Production takes place 100% in Germany. Only sustainable materials are used

A simple but good product

The case is made of vegetable tanned leather, handmade and makes a high quality impression. At first it was very tight and I had to squeeze the knife with a little strength. This is known from new products. New shoes have to be run in. In the meantime, it is well and firm, so that the knife can simply be inserted but does not run the risk of falling out.
The design is extremely simple and simple. Two spatula -shaped leather pieces are sewn on the edge to the open headboard. That was it. It is difficult to assess whether this justifies the price. But good leather that is also tanned and handcrafted is also tanned and manufactured by hand.
The only thing that bothers me is that the headboard is open and does not have a lockable tab like the cheaper product. The knife sits completely in the case, but if it falls down and landed exactly on the headboard, the ERG could suffer damage. But otherwise I'm very satisfied with the product.
