This 100% "Made in Germany" Razor plane is an inconspicuous alternative to the Press casting- and Lathe other manufacturers. The focus is on Security and durability. We achieve this through a precise milled Aluminum head and one Threaded bolt out of flexible Neusilber.

As a product of the LSONE series, the end pieces are off New silver and the handles from one of the four Noble (Oak, Padouk, Mahogany or Amaranth) manufactured. The wood works antibacterial and is durable.

Due to the light construction made of wood and aluminum, the planer is neither grip nor head-heavy and just brings 40g on the scales.

In contrast to the predominantly round planes on the market, we have for a edgy design decided.

High -quality workmanship but not long -lasting

I can only agree with the other comments for the high -quality presentation.
I received the 2018 product as a gift. Unpacking and the first shaves were a real experience. I've become a real "plane" fan. The Ap Donovan made it easy for me and I quickly got the right turn out.
After over two years of use (approx. 2x a week) my AP Donovan is broken. The thread broken, unfortunately not interchangeable, and thus the whole product gone. Very, very bad, and of course I cannot rule out errors in the handling 100%. Nevertheless, it is blatant that a product, which is high -quality, high quality and sustainably, is over so quickly.
The customer Support reacted quickly and referred to the warranty and warranty decline after 24 months. That's ok, it is part of the shop, but I'm looking for a new product.

First of all: my last wet shaving was back 15 years.

Since I no longer have patience for the care of a razor, I thought I was trying it with a razor planer. When I saw that there was this razor planer in Amaranth, the decision was made.

The razor planer is really high -quality and is well in the hand. I occasionally work with Amaranth and can only say that you don't have to be afraid of damage in this hardwood. Material and appearance of the razor planer are very noble. There is really nothing to complain about.

Now to shave. From my amateur perspective, I cannot see any big differences between different products. I suspect the difference with the blades. At least the framework conditions fit, for example the cutting angle. My first shave was a one-day beard with a 0815 shaving soap from the drugstore. The shaving feeling, which is rather bad, but the result is good. The second shave was a two-day beard with my 20-year-old quality rasis soap. The shaving feeling was much better. The result is absolutely satisfactory. At least where I didn't bleed.

I think the shaving result is absolutely great. If you use the right soap in the right way and are no longer as entirely out of practice as I am currently. My next purchase will probably be the shaving soap set.

Elegant plane

When opening the interesting wood packaging in the book optics, a further cover is hidden that makes you curious about the content. Then the WoW effect - a very nicely worked plane. The sharp blades and the good and easy handling enables gentle and thorough shaving. It is also very sustainable because the blades can be used several times. In contrast to Hobel Plus, the handle is more narrower. So you have to feel what grip you are.

From the very first moment I was thrilled with the slim and noble/high-quality design! The planer comes in the type A.P. Donovan Standard packaging is a shame, maybe there is an upgrade with small leather case or something? Would definitely fit the rest of the plane, otherwise it is very valuable and almost the feeling of holding a luxury product in his hands. Only contours can only be drawn very difficult. Otherwise, the shaving result is smooth and the shave itself goes without ziepen of states and is a lot of stylish fun! And the haptic of the plane is also wonderful! It lies tender and light and at the same time valuable in it!

Sicherheit geht vor

Heutzutage muss es schnell gehen mit der Rasur. Damit es schnell geht, muss das Werkzeug sicher sein und genau das ist dieser präzise gefräster Kopf aus Aluminium.

Auf den Hundertstel genau, passt die Klinge perfekt. Ist überall versteckt, und zeigt sich nur da, wo sie soll. Der Kamm führt die Haut zur Klinge. Alles, wie es sein soll.

Noch nie war eine Klinge so nah an der Haut und trotzdem so sicher versteckt.

Das Gewinde, das nicht bricht

Spröde Gewindebolzen aus Zinkdruckguss brechen irgendwann durch das häufige Auf- und Zudrehen ab. Nicht bei diesem Hobel. Gefertigt aus flexiblem Neusilber ist Langlebigkeit garantiert.

Edle Materialien

Edelhölzer haben ihren Reiz. Aber sie sind auch praktisch, denn sie wirken antibakteriell. Außerdem reduzieren sie das Gewicht und sind biologisch abbaubar.

Neusilber ist eine Legierung, die mit Silber durchaus einige Gemeinsamkeiten hat. Neben dem silbernen Glanz, rostet es nicht und lässt sich wie Silber mit etwas Zahnpasta wieder aufpolieren.

Kantiges Design

Rund ist auch schön. Ja. Aber Rasierhobel-Griffe und -Köpfe sind eher aus pragmatischen Gründen rund. Denn so lassen sie sich einfacher herstellen.

Wir gehen die Extrameile und scheuen den Aufwand nicht. Denn kantig finden wir schöner.
