The pipe cutlery

The term pipe utensil hides various elements that are indispensable for the enjoyment of pipe smoking. As a whole, the whistler needs several utensils such as the pipe, the pipe tobacco, tobacco pipe filter inserts and a matching lighter to light the tobacco. Normal matches are unfavorable because they ignite the tobacco only badly. Furthermore, a pipe cleaner and a pipe utensil is mandatory.
The pipe cutlery, which in connoisseurs' circles is also called a pipe stuffer, is a relatively small instrument. It has the task to prepare the pipe for smoking and to do the post-treatment. This compact tool that combines the pipe stuffer, the pipe scraper and the loosener should therefore not be missing when smoking.

Multifunctional three-piece pipe set for the tobacco pipe

The Pfeifenstopfer, colloquially also referred to as Pfeifenräumer, is used to press down the glowing tobacco. After the tobacco is lit, it relaxes. Therefore, it is necessary to make a subsequent "compaction" with the pusher from the pipe set. Many pipe divers repeat this process while pulling the tobacco pipe.
Once the tobacco has been smoked and cooled, the tobacco pipe needs to be cleaned well. For this to succeed, the mandrel and the reamer are used. The mandrel is advantageous for loosening the cooled tobacco. He does the preliminary work for the reamer, with which the tobacco residue can be removed from the head of the tobacco pipe. The thorn is usually integrated inside the pipe stuffer.
